I was approached by the National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) to create a national fundraising program that would provide a residual source of revenue for its 185 youth organizations in 50 million households across the country. Consequently, Locker 81 Fundraising Solutions, LLC, a Texas Limited Liability Corporation, was founded.

 

The company, an exclusive prepaid debit card program manager for MasterCard®, provides innovative fundraising mechanisms primarily for non-profit organizations. Our signature program is The Smart Giving MasterCard® Prepaid Card. Our partnership with MasterCard® gives us the capability to design custom MasterCard® prepaid cards for its customer base along with robust marketing launch plans to ensure high membership adoption rates. Currently, there are no competitors providing a custom branded prepaid card under the MasterCard® brand that offers residual revenue sharing back to nonprofits or organizations.

 

The Smart Giving Programs allows for revenue-share funneled directly back to the nonprofit organization, while additional profits are retained by the company to fund The Tim Brown Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to provide “at-risk” “latch-key” children and teen’s after-school programs and summer camps. These programs and camps not only act as a place of safety, but also as an educational provider specializing in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematical fields. The long-term goal is to expand these programs and camps from Dallas, TX into cities throughout the nation.
